MT9223CT 50BR5 Current Sensor Ic SOT-8

The MagnTek MT9223CT 50BR5 is a fully integrated Hall Effect linear current sensor designed for accurate AC and DC current measurement.
It supports bidirectional current sensing from -50A to +50A and provides a proportional analog output with 40mV/A sensitivity.
Operating from a 5V supply, its output remains near 2.5V when no current is flowing, making current direction easy to detect.

This current sensor offers a fast 150kHz signal bandwidth and a typical response time of only 4 microseconds.
Its internal conductor has a low typical resistance of 1.2mΩ, helping reduce heat generation and power loss in high-current circuits.
Differential Hall sensing, low-noise signal processing and near-zero magnetic hysteresis support stable measurements in electrically noisy environments.

The MT9223CT 50BR5 is suitable for inverter current monitoring, motor phase sensing, photovoltaic inverters, chargers, converters and switching power supplies.
It operates across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, making it suitable for demanding commercial and industrial equipment.
The compact SOP-8 package is RoHS compliant and provides electrical isolation between the high-current conductor and low-voltage signal pins.
